What it is

FuryBee Voice is a web app for voice rooms. Create a room, share its invite code, and talk with low latency. Each room has a text chat that is saved, with history, unread counts and your read position.

It installs as a progressive web app on desktop and mobile, and opens even offline thanks to its cached files. It has dark and light themes.

Key features

    Private rooms

Rooms are private by default and joined with an invite code the owner can regenerate.

  3. 03

    Chat that stays

Messages are stored with history paging and unread counts, and deleted automatically after 180 days.

  4. 04

    Installable

A progressive web app for desktop and mobile.

  5. 05

    Voice is not recorded

Audio is relayed in real time and never stored.

How it works

Audio goes through a mediasoup selective forwarding unit (SFU) on FuryBee's server, which forwards each voice to the other people in the room without mixing or recording it. Sign-in uses Google. Chat lives in PostgreSQL on servers in France. Voice is audio only: there is no video or screen sharing.
